Why is the SASSA Reference Number Important?

SASSA manages millions of grant applications, and the application ID makes it easy for the SASSA to manage all applications by a reference number. Here are three main advantages:

1. Track Your SRD Application

You can easily track your SRD application using the reference number. You can also check the status and payment dates of your grant.

2. Contacting SASSA

When contacting SASSA through a helpline or email, your application ID will help the officer locate your grant application quickly.

If you need help from the SASSA regarding your grant, you can simply provide your application ID to the representative. A reference number helps the SASSA representative to access your application quickly.
