After entering your OTP, click the “Cancel My Grant” button. Again, a message will appear on your screen asking, “Are you sure to cancel your grant application?”. You have to click “Yes” to terminate your SASSA grant.

First, go to your contact list and save the SASSA contact number 082 046 8553 on your phone.

Step 2: Send Message to SASSA

Now, open WhatsApp and send the message “SASSA Grant Cancellation” to the saved SASSA number to initiate the cancellation process.

Step 3: Select “Cancel My Application”

Now, SASSA will send a list of many options. Select “Cancel my application”.

You have to provide your accurate 13-digit ID number to the SASSA. Then, you need to send your SASSA phone number. It is an essential step for the verification of your identity.

After entering the information, SASSA will send a confirmation message detailing that your request for the cancellation has been sent.
